This Medication Management class is the INITIAL class for those who have never taken a class on medication, or whose certificate expired. The State of Nevada requires this class to become a Med Tech. We assist with job placement. You must always complete the enrollment forms prior to payment. We reserve the right to move students to a different date due to class registration.

You may purchase a copy of your 16-hr Medication Certificate if you meet one of these requirements. 1. You paid for the certificate and have lost it. 2. Your facility or former facility paid for your certificate, and it is now 3 months later, and you want a copy.

Medication Management Refresher 8 hrs. $135.00 plus registration and CC fees
Cost: $135.00 + 10% registration and credit card fee
We explain how to keep accurate medication documents and the use of medication administration record [MAR], medication delivery log, medication refusal or missed medications. Reviews the Med Tech terminology and reviews the different routes that medication may be administered. Review of the appropriate abbreviation when documenting medications.

Medication Remedial Training 8-hour and retake a failed exam
Cost: $50.00
This training is only for individuals who have failed the 16-hour medication state exam. After completing this additional training then you will re-take the state exam. This is not the mandatory 8-hr refresher course for re-certification.

Series 1 Only $22.50
This medication workbook will assist you in developing a greater skill set to manage and pass medications in a variety of facilities. These lessons are designed to target a better understanding of medication procedures and safety measures. This is the first of a series of medication workbooks for assisted living, residential facilities for groups, behavioral health agencies, and any non-medical facility. This is a fully bound workbook to take with you wherever you go.
