This Medication Management class is the INITIAL class for those who have never taken a class on medication, or whose certificate expired. The State of Nevada requires this class to become a Med Tech. This class is a 3-day training. The first two days are from 8:45 am-1:30 pm. The last day of class will be from 9:00-3:00 pm. We assist with job placement. You must always complete the enrollment forms prior to payment. We reserve the right to move students to a different date due to class registration. 

Have you completed all these forms?  Step 1. Enrollment, Step 2. Ability to Benefit, Confirmation. Step 3. Terms and Polices, you will NOT be fully enrolled until all steps are completed and payment is made. 

READ THIS: You will receive your package the day before class with all the materials and the link to the ZOOM. Your payment order is confirmation you are enrolled. If anything is missing, we will contact you.

Description

We explain how to keep accurate medication documents and the use of medication administration record [MAR], medication delivery log, medication refusal or missed medications. Reviews the Med Tech terminology and reviews the different routes that medication may be administered. Review of the appropriate abbreviation when documenting medications.  You will learn Nevada’s regulations for administering medications. You can work at an assisted living communities, residential group homes, behavioral health and more.
